During the event, it was announced that Bushiroad and Eighting are teaming up to create a new full-scale fighting game based on Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter. Fans are eagerly anticipating more updates on this exciting development.

Further details about the game, including the expected release date, will be disclosed at the Bushiroad New Year Grand Presentation 2024. This event is set to happen at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on Saturday, January 6, 2024. It is an annual gathering where the company unveils its upcoming projects and releases for the year.

The upcoming release contributes to the series of Hunter X Hunter games that have been released over the years, appearing on various platforms including WonderSwan, Game Boy Color, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Meanwhile, Bushiroad, another Japanese entertainment company, is recognized for producing popular collectible card games, mobile applications, and games. They have recently developed video games such as Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Sakuretsu!! Chorogon Breath, Shōjo Kageki Revue Starlight: Re LIVE, and Cardcaptor Sakura Happiness Memories.

Yoshihiro Togashi's manga fans have eagerly awaited a new release since chapter 400 was released in December 2022. It is hoped that a new chapter will be released in 2024.
