A new Hunter x Hunter video game is currently in development, much to the excitement of fans who have been eagerly anticipating news about the series' future. The announcement has brought some much-needed good news to fans who have been disappointed by the extended hiatus of the manga due to the creator, Yoshihiro Togashi's health concerns. Despite being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 1998, only 400 chapters have been released so far. Fans were also disheartened when the mangaka hinted at a possible ending to the story due to uncertainty about finishing it. However, the upcoming video game has given fans something to look forward to in the new year while they await the release of chapter 401.
