Hugh Jackman showed that heartbreak isn't always the theme song when he spent time with Taylor Swift and her impressive group of friends. The 54-year-old actor looked stylish in an all-black ensemble as he joined Swift, his co-star from Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, and various other celebrities at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, October 1. They were there to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs in their game against the New York Jets.
The actor from The Greatest Showman, currently going through a divorce from estranged wife Deborra-Lee Furness, seemed to be in a cheerful mood as he posted a collection of selfies featuring well-known celebrities on social media. Sharing a picture with Reynolds, 46, and director Shawn Levy, he described it as one of his finest selfies.

Jackman, Reynolds, Lively, 36, and Swift were pictured in a second photo, all beaming with joy as they cheered on Travis Kelce, the rumored love interest of the pop star, from their exclusive suite.
Swift attended to support Kelce, sparking dating speculation since her appearance at Arrowhead Stadium last week. Jackman, on the other hand, is prioritizing spending time with loved ones after ending his 27-year marriage with Furness. In a joint statement on September 15, the couple announced their decision to separate and pursue individual growth. They expressed gratitude, love, and kindness, emphasizing that their family remains their highest priority. They kindly request privacy as their family navigates this transitional phase.
Earlier this month, a confidential source informed We that Jackman and Furness, who have a 23-year-old son named Oscar and an 18-year-old daughter named Ava, gradually grew apart after nearly thirty years together. According to the source, Hugh and Deb reached a stage where they were more like close friends, and there was no known drama or conflict.
However, this does not imply that their separation will be easy. The insider mentioned that their lives have become so intertwined over the years that dividing assets and finances will be a challenging and emotionally-draining process. Nevertheless, the estranged couple's intention is to reach an agreement as amicably as possible, as they embark on this new phase of their lives.

According to a source, despite their divorce, they will always hold deep affection for one another and remain an integral part of each other's lives. As stated in their official announcement, both parties have come to the realization that it is time for a fresh chapter in their individual journeys, and they are proceeding with complete tranquility and utmost respect for one another. The heartbreaking decision to separate was not taken lightly.
Despite experiencing personal heartbreak, Jackman has a promising professional future to look forward to. Previously claiming retirement from his role as Wolverine after the film Logan in 2017, Jackman surprised fans when Reynolds announced in September 2022 that he would be joining him for the third Deadpool installment.
In an interview with Variety the following month, Jackman expressed his belief that he would excel in the role, stating, "A little part of me now thinks I'd be better at it. Is that arrogance of age or something? Wolverine's a tortured character - more tortured than me. But I always get the feeling of him being comfortable in his own skin. And I feel more comfortable in my own skin now, even though it's messier."
The production of the film is currently halted due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. However, despite this, the cast of Deadpool 3, known as the A-list gang, is making the most of their time together. They recently attended the Chiefs vs. Jets game on Sunday, as seen in a video shared by Levy, 55, via X. In his caption, he expressed his preference for being on set shooting the movie but acknowledged that nights like these are enjoyable in the meantime.
