Where to find all Daedalian Keys in Hogwarts Legacy
To initiate The Daedalian Keys sidequest in Hogwarts Legacy, begin by conversing with a student named Nelli Oggspire. She can be found standing behind the tree in the Transfiguration Courtyard area. Express your willingness to assist her and commence the pursuit of the sidequest.
Astronomy Tower and Daedalian Cabinets
Proceed to follow the markers until you reach the designated destination. The key will swiftly travel to a nearby classroom, at which point you will observe a cabinet with an intriguing appearance. Engage with the cabinet to initiate a minigame.
The goal is to wait for the key to pass through the center of the cabinet. When this happens, swiftly press the button prompt to slap it. By doing so, the cabinet will open and you will receive one House Token as a reward.
Afterwards, use fast-travel to go to your Common Room and place the token in the House Chest. Then, return to Nellie to finish this step. From now on, the remaining keys will not be marked. So, we will approach the Hogwarts Legacy House Chest and Daedalian Keys objective by wing and keep note of the nearest fast-travel points to assist with navigation.
Hit the flying key as it travels across the central area.
Astronomy Wing Daedalian Keys
Transfiguration Courtyard - Approach the door next to the fast travel location and ascend the staircase. The key can be seen levitating near the exhibit of the Rhino skeleton.
Transfiguration Classroom (Staircase) - When you reach the fast travel point, glance towards the left where a sizable wooden door awaits. Enter it to locate the floating key next to the set of stairs. It will soar towards the top where you'll discover a cabinet.
Transfiguration Classroom (Dragon Statue) - In the same chamber where you previously found the mentioned key, proceed by descending the steps. The cabinet will come into view, and the key can be found right underneath the landing. It is positioned in front of the dragon statue.
Transfiguration Classroom (Cellar) - Departing from the dragon statue, navigate through the passageway until you reach the cellars. Continue to follow the key until you arrive at the basement, where the cabinet is located.
Grand Staircase Daedalian Keys
The Grand Staircase Tower showcases an intriguing sight - a floating key in front of several portraits right before you reach the topmost Symbol Door Puzzle. As you stand close to the railings, the key decides to flutter downward and heads towards a cabinet located beside another Symbol Door Puzzle, which also coincidentally sits just above the teleporter for the Grand Staircase.
To reach the Grand Staircase, begin by moving forward from the fast travel point and direct your attention to the large door on your left. Inside the adjoining room that connects to the Viaduct Courtyard, you will find both the key and the cabinet.
Great Hall Daedalian Keys
Great Hall (Fireplace) - The key is located next to the fireplace on your left. It will then move on its own and land on the cabinet tucked away in the small alcove beside the Floo Flames.
Great Hall (Garden) - Starting from the fast-travel point, proceed through the large doors to the right and you will find yourself in the garden. Pass through the archway and search for the key. It will move in a serpentine pattern throughout the area, eventually making its way to the cabinet situated at the back-left section. Look for it near the door that leads to the Sept area, which can be identified as the red chamber adorned with a star.
Library Annex Daedalian Keys
Library - The key is located among several bookcases while the cabinet is positioned in close proximity to the Floo Flames.
Central Hall (Greenhouse Entrance) - Upon reaching the statue, take a right turn. As you proceed towards the emerald door leading to the Greenhouses, cast your gaze to the left. The key will gracefully soar across Central Hall, heading towards a secluded corner where you'll find a Symbol Door Puzzle.
Central Hall (Marble Steps): Instead of proceeding toward the statue, ascend the steps. Observe the prominent doors that grant access to the Viaduct Courtyard. The key can be found concealed behind the marble steps on your right. It will return swiftly to the main staircase from which you arrived.
Potions Classroom: Enter through the door and the key will come into view, positioned before the classroom. It will then glide down the spiral steps and settle within the cabinet at the base.
South Wing Daedalian Keys
Faculty Tower (Staircase) - To unlock the Faculty Tower, you need to complete The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, the main quest that rewards you with Alohomora. Once you have the spell, head to the fast travel point and enter the Faculty Tower. Make your way up the stairs until you reach the Symbol Door Puzzle, where the key is located. The key will then fly down to the cabinet below.
Faculty Tower (Clock Gears) - Starting from the spot mentioned earlier, continue climbing the spiral staircase until you reach the top. You will find a cabinet there. To obtain the key, go through the nearby corridor that leads to the large clock tower gears. The key will appear and fly back to the cabinet.
South Wing Daedalian Keys
Clock Tower Courtyard - Upon spawning, unlock the gatehouse door on the left side. Ascend the steps to find the key in front of a beautifully decorated door. Proceed up another set of steps where the cabinet awaits. Alternatively, you can access this area by utilizing the Hospital Wing fast travel point and descending the wooden scaffolding near the prominent clock gears.
