HGTV star Hilary Farr will exit Love It Or List It after 19 seasons.
"After 12 wonderful years, I am grateful to the network for their support and to my loyal fans," Farr, 70, said in a statement on Friday, December 1. "David [Visentin] and I will always be friends, and I fully expect him to continue being fabulously and hilariously annoying."
She added, "Love It or List It has made a true impact on so many lives, including mine. Now, it's time for me to take on new challenges that have come my way. If this is my legacy, it's a great one."
Farr and Visentin, 58, began co-hosting Love It Or List It in 2008, aiming to assist homeowners who were not satisfied with their current living situations. Farr, an interior designer, focused on renovating the property to help them "love it," while Realtor Visentin worked on finding a better home for them to "list" on the market.
"Working with Hilary has been an exciting and unforgettable experience. While I could do without the endless 'love its,' she is undeniably talented," Visentin shared in his own statement to Us. "Despite being rivals on the show, we quickly became friends and have countless memories both on and off set. I look forward to continuing our friendship and wishing her the best in all her endeavors."

Farr further told People on Friday that she made her decision to depart the show ahead of filming its landmark 20th season.
Farr explained that she realized her identity as a woman encompasses seeking challenges, inspiration, and new ideas, as well as being excited about the possibilities. She expressed the need for these qualities to flourish and claimed that she is finished with her previous endeavors.
After the success of Love It Or List It, Farr secured her own design show called Tough Love with Hilary Farr, which is now airing on Max. Despite this new venture, she has continued to assist homeowners on Love It Or List It even after the debut of Tough Love in 2021.
