The 2023/24 season of the Scottish Women's Premier League begins with Glasgow City, the reigning champions, hosting Hibernian. Montrose, the newly promoted team, will commence their journey in the top-flight by playing at home against Celtic, the runners-up of the previous season who narrowly missed out on the title on a thrilling final day. Meanwhile, Rangers, now under the leadership of new manager Jo Potter, will travel to face Spartans.
Hamilton Academical will inaugurate their partnership with head coach Robert Watson by playing a home match against Hearts, while Aberdeen, currently without a manager, will host Motherwell. Additionally, Dundee United will welcome Partick Thistle for the final fixture.
In the upcoming season, the top three teams from last year will face each other on August 27, with Glasgow City visiting Rangers. This will be followed by a visit to Celtic on October 2.
The first Old Firm match will be hosted by Celtic on October 22, with a rematch scheduled for February 18. On September 10, Hearts will face Hibernian in the first Edinburgh derby, and the reverse fixture will occur on November 19. The split will continue this season, dividing the division in half after 22 matches. Each team will play 10 more matches, one at home and one away against each club in the same half of the league.

Additionally, St Johnstone will be playing at home against Stirling University.
'An unprecedented level of anticipation...'
The unveiling of the new season brings about an exhilarating atmosphere for both clubs and their supporters alike, as they eagerly await the commencement of the upcoming matches. Having witnessed the thrilling conclusion of the previous 2022/23 season, accompanied by the introduction of ScottishPower as the prestigious title sponsors, today's release carries an unparalleled sense of anticipation. We can anticipate two highly competitive divisions this time. It's been a while since there has been genuine uncertainty regarding the favorites for champion and relegation in both the SPWPL and SPWPL 2.
This is exactly what we desire from our premier leagues, and the intensity and unpredictability of the outcomes truly excite fans, as we witnessed at the conclusion of the previous season, where interest in the game skyrocketed.
"Alongside the clubs, we can't wait to get the new campaign started and to build on the momentum and success of last season."
