HGTV's Mina Starsiak Hawk Ends Communication with Former 'Good Bones' Co-star Cory Miller
HGTV's Mina Starsiak Hawk shares that she and former 'Good Bones' costar Cory Miller have ceased communication since the show's conclusion

For Mina Starsiak Hawk, the ending of HGTV’s Good Bones also marked the end of her relationship with costar Cory Miller.
There have been numerous questions about Cory, and I will address this respectfully, considering my platform compared to his. Unfortunately, Cory and I are not speaking at the moment. I am sure that he believes I have done things that hurt him. I have known him since he was 11 and have always had a soft spot for him. However, towards the end of the show, there were a couple of incidents that I cannot move on from, and I don't want that negative energy in my life.
She explained her decision to unfollow Miller on Instagram, saying that many people follow others on social media just to see them fail, fall, or look bad in pictures. She stated that she's not interested in that negativity and doesn't want others to do it to her. She emphasized that if people don't like her, they should unfollow her instead of hate-following her.
Starsiak Hawk also expressed that it was the right decision for her and Miller to distance themselves from each other's lives. She mentioned that she had a good relationship with Cory in the past but after recent events, she was able to see his true colors and made the choice to separate herself from him.
Starsiak Hawk concluded the conversation with a disclaimer, stating, "This is my life, this is my story, and I’m sure I’m an active participant in some negative storylines that other people have, as well. So, [I] just want to acknowledge that while I’m sharing my stuff, it’s not the whole story.”

Miller was a key member of Starsiak Hawk's team on the popular show Good Bones. The series documented Starsiak Hawk and her mother, Karen Laine, as they worked on renovating dilapidated homes in Indianapolis, Indiana. Good Bones concluded its successful eight-season run in October after captivating audiences for seven years.

Recently, Starsiak Hawk shared her excitement about the "amazing run" she and her family had on the show via Instagram. "I want to express my gratitude to our loyal fans for their support over the years, and I acknowledge that this news may be disappointing. The privilege of being a part of something meaningful to so many fans is one that I hold dear," she stated on October 19. "Changes are certainly happening, but I am looking forward to what the future brings and the opportunities to work on new projects."
She also hinted that Good Bones will not be the end of her HGTV journey. "While we may not be filming for Good Bones as you know it, we won't be strangers to HGTV, and we already have exciting new projects in the works with them!" Starsiak Hawk shared. "So don't count us out just yet! We're evolving and with evolution comes change! I hope we can rely on your continued support as we move forward, just as you have graciously given in the past. Here's to new and exciting things!"
