Attack on Titan's anime adaptation will soon come to a close with the final part of Season 4. While manga readers are already aware of its status, anime viewers are eager to know if the manga has concluded or if it is still ongoing. Created by Hajime Isayama in 2009, the iconic manga received an anime adaptation after several years, further increasing its popularity with its impressive animation produced by WIT Studio.
The community was so enamored with the series that fans constantly discussed it and eagerly anticipated what would happen next.
When it comes to the anime series, it's difficult to predict what MAPPA will bring in the highly anticipated finale airing in November. However, we do have some insights into Isayama's iconic manga series.
Is Attack on Titan manga finished?
The Attack on Titan manga has officially come to a close, bringing an end to its successful run that began in 2009. After its final 139th chapter was released in 2021, however, the series faced backlash from its fandom as the ending failed to satisfy their expectations.
In particular, a number of fans expressed their dislike for it, demanding an alternative ending. Several polls were even conducted in an attempt to pressure the mangaka into producing a different conclusion. Nevertheless, as of now, there have been no indications of AoT receiving another ending or the manga making a comeback. Therefore, it is reasonable to assert that this truly marks the end of the line for AoT, unless Isayama announces a spin-off at some point in the future.
The anime has been adapted up to Chapter 130, meaning that the final part will encompass the events from Chapter 131 to 139. Anticipate an experience lasting at least an hour.
Attack on Titan's story unfolds in the year 845, when the Armored Titan and Colossal Titan breached the first wall. Eren, an innocent child, witnessed his mother being devoured by a Titan, which sparked his determination to eliminate all Titans beyond the walls.
The story started out simple and straightforward, but later veered in an unexpected direction, adding to the thrill. However, manga enthusiasts said goodbye to this exciting journey in 2021, and next month it will be the turn of anime fans to bid farewell to the series.
