The highly anticipated Season 2 of the Paramount+ series, Halo, based on the iconic video game franchise, is set to premiere on February 8. Actor Pablo Schreiber's portrayal of Master Chief John-117 will lead his elite team of Spartans in a battle against the alien threat of the Covenant Empire. Paramount has just released the first trailer, offering a lot of exciting content packed into two and a half minutes.
This is the first glimpse of the show since last month's CCXP in Brazil and showcases Master Chief facing challenging obstacles, a situation he's no stranger to. Take a look at the new trailer below.
Season 2 will introduce new characters to the cast, including Joseph Morgan as James Ackerson, a colonel in the UNSC Army. Ackerson is a familiar figure to fans of the Halo novels.
Cristina Rodlo will take on the role of Talia Perez, a recruit and linguistic specialist for a UNSC Marine Corps communications unit. The returning cast members include Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Fiona O’Shaughnessy, and Tylan Bailey.
The entire Season 1 of Halo is currently available to stream on Paramount+.
