Halle Bailey Fires Back at 'Pregnancy Nose' Comment: 'Mind Your Own Business'

Halle Bailey shuts down pregnancy rumors, fiercely responding to a fan's comment about her 'pregnancy nose' in a Snapchat Story video She firmly asserts her privacy and demands to be left alone

Halle Bailey strongly responded to a fan who made a derogatory comment about her nose attributing it to her pregnancy. Enraged, the 23-year-old actress took to Snapchat on November 18 to express her frustration and resilience, asserting that she proudly embraces her black identity and loves her unique nose.

She continued: “[What are you] concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone!”

In the video, the Little Mermaid actress did not address the pregnancy rumors and only showed her face.

Bailey and her boyfriend, Darryl Dwayne “DDG” Granberry Jr., have been the subject of speculation for months regarding their rumored pregnancy. Her fashion selections have only intensified these rumors. During the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in September, Bailey opted for a graceful and flowing dress while presenting, and later that month she showcased an oversized shirt dress during Milan Fashion Week. In a previous interview, Bailey expressed her desire to veer away from traditional princess-like ensembles and embrace a more relaxed and baggy streetwear style.

Bailey and DDG, both 26, opted for casual attire to celebrate Halloween as they paid homage to the iconic characters from Janet Jackson and the late Tupac Shakur's 1993 film "Poetic Justice". Bailey shared a series of pictures on her Instagram showcasing her ensemble, featuring a black t-shirt, black jeans, and a black beret. Meanwhile, DDG sported a baseball jersey and a sideways baseball cap.

The two have been romantically linked since January 2022, when they were first seen together at Usher's residency in Las Vegas. Just two months after their public appearance at the Usher concert, Bailey and the rapper known for his hit song "Moonwalking in Calabasas" confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

But the Grown-ish actor became aware of her partner when she discovered his YouTube channel in 2015.

"I've been a supporter of his for a long time," she revealed to Essence in November 2022. "During my time on YouTube, I would frequently come across talented young Black creators who constantly inspired me, and he was one of them."

Bailey admitted to neglecting him, but he later reached out to her, and from that point on their relationship took off.

In February, DDG's former girlfriend Rubi Rose publicly accused him of infidelity towards Halle, but despite the allegations, they chose to stay together.

Bailey expressed to British Vogue in April that discovering profound love for the first time has tremendously broadened his creative horizons. He shared the indescribable sensation of loving someone outside of his immediate family, someone who may have been a stranger just a couple of years ago but has now become the absolute focal point of his existence.
