"Even though we're only a few days into the new year, the best thing that 2023 could have brought me is my son," Bailey shared on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of her newborn son's hand adorned with a gold bracelet engraved with his name, "Halo."
She wrote, "Welcome to the world, my little angel. The world is eager to meet you."
Rapper DDG, Baileys boyfriend, shared the same photo on his Instagram on Saturday, expressing, "by far my greatest blessing" and proclaiming that he has "never been so deeply in love."
The couple, who have been romantically involved since 2022, had not officially announced their pregnancy, so Saturday's announcement came as a surprise. Despite keeping quiet about their growing family, Bailey had previously spoken about her relationship with DDG, revealing in a 2022 interview with British Vogue that "experiencing deep love for the first time in my life is something I feel has opened a whole new world for me creatively."
"I enjoy experiencing all the thrilling emotions that come with motherhood. The suspense, the uncertainty of what will happen next - it all feels like a part of womanhood," she explained.
This marks the arrival of Bailey and DDG's first child together.
