Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DDG transformed the premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé into the sweetest date night. The 23-year-old Bailey and 26-year-old DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., were spotted holding hands after watching the concert film on Saturday, November 25, in Los Angeles. Earlier in the day, the couple posed affectionately on the red carpet, embracing each other. Bailey even waved and gave the camera a kissy face.
Bailey wowed at the soirée in a glamorous fur coat dress and embellished boots, complemented by sparkling chokers and silver earrings. Meanwhile, DDG coordinated with the Little Mermaid star in a sleek black and silver outfit, complete with a charcoal leather jacket, leather boots, and a chrome chain necklace.
DDG and Halle were accompanied by sister Chloe Bailey on the red carpet, where the women shared hugs and flashed peace signs. Chloe, 25, flaunted her physique in a stunning purple gown with a revealing cutout over her bust and midriff.
Halle and DDG have been making more public appearances in the past few months. They recently attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, where Halle was honored, and publicly displayed their affection by walking the red carpet hand in hand. Halle also defended herself on Snapchat against fans who commented on her appearance.
"Enough with the comments about my nose. If I hear one more derogatory remark, there will be consequences," she asserted. "And you know why? Because I am proud of my Black heritage, and I love my nose."

She continued, “[What are you] concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone!”
Halle did not specifically mention the pregnancy speculations in the video. Halle and DDG began their relationship in January 2022, but Halle revealed that she had been a fan of his since 2015. She had initially discovered his YouTube channel years ago, and later confessed to Essence that she was particularly drawn to one of his songs. Interestingly, DDG reached out to her and "the rest is history."
In April, Halle again gushed about her relationship to British Vogue, and how it’s inspired her.

"Discovering a profound love for the first time has truly ignited my creative inspiration," she commented. "It's an indescribable feeling to care for someone outside of your family; to have someone who was a stranger just two years ago now be the focus of your universe."
She continued, “I feel like that’s what I’m supposed to be going through in womanhood.”
