Attack on Titan manga author and illustrator Hajime Isayama revealed on Saturday, September 30, 2023, that a new volume will be added to his series, scheduled for release in Japan in April 2024. This upcoming release will feature a complete illustrations artbook for the series, including a new 18-page entry titled Volume 35. Fans are eagerly speculating about the content of this new Attack on Titan manga entry, especially considering the controversy surrounding the additional pages in the previous final volume.
Attack on Titan manga addition most likely to focus on series’ ending, but it could also include earlier exposition
The Attack on Titan manga appears poised to enhance its ultimate resolution, potentially delving into different aspects of the narrative in these additional pages. Nevertheless, as the anime draws to a close in the last few months of 2023 and a fresh manga installment is set to arrive in 2024, avid fans can anticipate an exhilarating future for the series.
Coming April 30, 2024, fans will finally learn what the 35th volume of the Attack on Titan manga will delve into. However, since it is a part of an art book for the series, fans should not anticipate any substantial plot developments due to its brevity.
That being said, the content could draw inspiration from the aforementioned additional pages which were incorporated into the 34th volume of the series right after its original conclusion. Although these pages sparked controversy initially, Isayama might be laying the groundwork to address some of these criticisms by delving deeper into the ultimate state of the world as portrayed in the latest installment.

Regardless, it is highly unlikely that the legacy of Isayama's series will be tarnished, considering that the Attack on Titan manga is widely considered as one of the most influential works in the medium.
Isayama initially introduced the series in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in September 2009, where it continued to run for a total of 34 volumes (soon to be 35) until April 2021. The anime adaptation, produced by Wit Studio, first aired in 2013 and Wit handled the series until its third season. MAPPA Studios then took over for the fourth season and is currently set to conclude the television anime adaptation later this year with a one-hour special.
