Haikyuu!! Final Movie Reveals Stunning New Key Visual Prior to Release

The new poster for the Haikyuu!! final movie features all 21 members from Karasuno and Nekoma High

The official staff of the Haikyuu!! anime has released a new key visual for the Haikyuu!! Final Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump, featuring all 21 members of Karasuno and Nekoma High from the original work by Haruichi Furudate.

Comprising 12 members of Karasuno High School, the poster includes Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Yuu Nishinoya, Ryunosuke Tanaka, Koshi Sugawara, Asahi, Kei Tsukishima, and others, all displaying excitement and readiness for the all-important game against their opponents.

Similar to the Karasuno High Team, the Nekoma players appear ready to establish their dominance on the volleyball court. The striking contrast of the black jerseys of Karasuno and the red jerseys of Nekoma High looks stunning against the backdrop of the vibrant sky and a pole in the background.

The background art depicts a garbage dump with silhouettes of a cat and a crow on both team's backs. There is also a catchphrase that, when translated, reads: "The banquet of fate is finally beginning!"

Cast and Staff for the Haikyuu!! final movie

In addition to the poster, the Haikyuu!! Final movie's official team has revealed that the film will debut in IMAX theaters on February 16, 2024, in Japan. With IMAX's state-of-the-art video production technology, audiences can experience the movie in stunning quality on the big screen.

The movie under Production IG Studio is being both directed and written by Susumu Mitsunaka. It is worth noting that the original cast members of the Haikyuu!! anime will be reprising their roles in the upcoming movie. As a result, Ayumu Murase will return to play Shoyo Hinata, and Kaito Ishikawa will once again star as Tobio Kageyama.

Serving as a sequel to the TV anime's fourth season, the film will pick up immediately after Karasuno's triumph over Inarizaki High.

As a hard fan of Haikyuu!!, I am incredibly excited about the upcoming final movie. The new key visual is absolutely stunning, and it perfectly captures the intensity and excitement of the upcoming match between Karasuno and Nekoma. I can't wait to see all of my favorite characters in action again, and I'm sure that the movie will be an unforgettable experience.

The fact that the movie will be released in IMAX theaters is also very exciting. I've never seen an anime movie in IMAX before, so I'm really looking forward to experiencing the film in such a high-quality format.
