Gwyneth Paltrow's courtroom style during her ski crash trial captivated fans, but it was far from her main concern. In an interview with The New York Times, Paltrow, 51, shared that she was simply focused on preparing for the intense experience each day. The unexpected attention on her fashion choices during the trial was strange to her.

The Oscar-winning celebrity faced a lawsuit earlier this year after retired doctor Terry Sanderson accused her of intentionally causing him harm during a skiing accident in Park City, Utah in 2016. Sanderson sought $300,000 in damages, while Paltrow refuted the allegations and counter sued for just $1. The trial commenced at the Park City District Court in March, driving social media users to eagerly search for new pictures of her courtroom attire.

Paltrow's fashion choices, as described by The New York Times, were deemed "obviously wealthy" yet "appropriate for the court and the setting." She opted for comfortable sweaters, flowing skirts, high riding boots, and thick-framed glasses, many of which hailed from her own clothing line, G. Label by Goop.

The jury in the trial reached a verdict on March 30, determining that Paltrow was not legally responsible. Following the court's finding that Sanderson was solely at fault, the Goop founder expressed in a statement, "I believed that giving in to a false accusation would compromise my integrity. I am satisfied with the result and grateful for the dedication of Judge Holmberg, the jury, and their careful handling of this matter."

After the conclusion of the legal dispute, Paltrow is determined to progress.

"I haven't fully come to terms with it yet. It was an experience that I feel I managed to come out of," she shared with The Times. "On certain occasions, it takes me quite a while to reflect on and comprehend certain situations in my life."

Paltrow is embracing her "crone" years, finding a newfound sweetness in the later stages of life. She expresses her desire to cook, tend to her garden, and eventually become a grandmother. She acknowledges that this phase of life can reveal itself gradually. Paltrow also mentions her promise to her mother, Blythe Danner, to do a play once she sells Goop. Currently, Paltrow is not anticipating her children, Apple and Moses, to have children of their own.
