Guerdy Abraira is preparing for her first round of chemotherapy with a beautiful new buzz cut.

Real Housewives of Miami star, aged 45, revealed her newly shaved head on Instagram on Wednesday, July 12. This comes after she announced her breast cancer diagnosis in March. In the caption of her social media post, Abraira declared that "CHEMO STARTS NOW." She decided to take a proactive step and shave her head before starting treatment in order to preemptively deal with potential hair loss. Despite the difficulties of this journey, she expresses gratitude for everything in her life, including this humbling experience that is strengthening her resolve. She still plans to occasionally wear wigs, but if you happen to see her without one, don't be alarmed! It's still her, just with significantly less hair.

Abraira confidently flaunted her new look through a series of captivating photos. With her flawless full glam, she complimented it with striking lashes, a mesmerizing smoky eye, and a daring red lip. Accompanied by a stunning white cutout dress, hoop earrings, and an assortment of rings, she truly showcased her beauty. Additionally, Abraira included a video in the slideshow where her husband, Russell Abraira, skillfully used clippers on her hair.

In the clip, Guerdy happily stated, "This is the new me, guys! Hoping you all love it!"

Earlier this year, when revealing her diagnosis, Geurdy mentioned that she had received some news regarding her health.

"I have been diagnosed with breast cancer," she expressed. "It took me some time to fully comprehend and that's why I decided to take a social media break last month, which many of you noticed ... Currently, I am getting ready for my upcoming surgery, followed by my treatment plan ... What I urge you to embrace is empowerment rather than pity."

Since revealing her condition, Guerdy has expressed gratitude to her fans for their prayers and has been consistently updating her followers about her journey. In June, she shared a video on Instagram stating, "Today was the day of the surgery and it was a success, so let's see what unfolds!"
