Arizona played a significant role in many major storylines during her time on the show, particularly in her relationship with Callie Torres. They got married, but later divorced after Arizona lost her leg in a plane crash. Jessica Capshaw left Grey's Anatomy because of creative disagreements, along with Sarah Drew. On the show, Arizona decided to relocate to New York so her daughter Sofia could be near both her parents.

Meredith is back on Grey's Anatomy after a short break, showing that her return is just as important. She left the show in season 19, episode 7 to move across the country for her daughter's education. Even though Pompeo stayed on as an executive producer and narrator, leaving the show allowed her to explore new projects after playing Meredith Grey for almost twenty years.

Pompeo's quick comeback to Grey's Anatomy signals that her departure was friendly. Her return gives the other characters the green light to keep the show going strong, while also reminding viewers that Meredith and her legacy will always be remembered. Arizona's return adds to the excitement of this season's big comebacks, paying tribute to the show's rich history.
