GOG is keeping the holiday spirit alive by giving gamers the opportunity to claim the indie game Lacuna for free as part of their Winter sale for 2023. This sci-fi noir title is the fourth game being offered for a limited time, with only one more game yet to be announced. The Winter promotion began with the giveaway of Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Master, followed by Lost Ruins and Caveblazers, a lengthy roguelike game that takes around 46 hours to complete.
Players have until December 29 at 2 PM UTC / 9 AM EST to claim Lacuna on the GOG storefront. The game, developed by DigiTales Interactive and released in 2021, has received mostly positive reviews across multiple platforms. In Lacuna, players take on the role of Neil Conrad, a detective on a mission to solve a murder that could disrupt the order of the solar system.
