Ayaka is a widely acclaimed and formidable character within the game, recognized for her exceptional DPS skills and substantial earnings from past re-run banners.
The anticipated reintroduction of Ayaka alongside her brother Kamisato Ayato in limited banners is expected to ignite enthusiasm among players.
A new leak has revealed that there will be a change to the planned re-run banners for Version 4.3 of Genshin Impact, with one of the featured characters being swapped out. Each update of the HoYoverse RPG not only brings new characters for players to acquire, but also brings back past party members through re-run banners. In the current Version 4.1 update, popular characters Venti and Hu Tao were available on limited gacha banners. However, in Version 4.3, there will reportedly be a change to the lineup of re-run characters.
A re-run banner change for Version 4.3 has been confirmed in a recent update shared by Tao, a prominent Genshin Impact leaker, via Uncle YC, another leaker. As per the update, Albedo will not have a re-run banner in the Version 4.3 update, and his position will be taken by Ayaka, the first five-star character from Inazuma. This aligns with leaked voicelines that indicate Ayaka will have a significant role in the Version 4.3 event. Speculation is rife that the main event of the update will be set in Inazuma, as evidenced by voicelines for various Inazuma characters.
Ayaka, who made her debut in Inazuma's launch in Version 2.0, has quickly become one of the most popular and strongest characters in Genshin Impact. In previous re-run banners, Ayaka consistently generated impressive revenue for HoYoverse, ranking among the game's top-earning gacha banners. Since her release, Ayaka has been recognized as a formidable damage-dealing character, making her a highly sought-after DPS in the RPG. In the Version 3.4 update, Ayaka even received her own character skin featuring a design inspired by Fontaine.
Following the anticipated return of her brother in the gacha, Ayaka is expected to appear in limited banners of Version 4.3. Speculation suggests that Kamisato Ayato, Ayaka's older brother and head of Inazuma's Yashiori Commission, will be featured in a re-run banner during the upcoming Version 4.2 update. In the previous Version 2.6 update, Ayaka herself was highlighted in her first re-run banner alongside her brother's release. With Ayaka's return to the limited banner, it is predicted that more players will seek to obtain this popular and powerful character.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
