Gisele Bündchen is said to be upset about how her marriage to Tom Brady was talked about on his Netflix roast. A source told People magazine that the supermodel, who is 43 years old, feels very let down by the disrespectful way her family was portrayed on the show.

Gisele Bündchen is concerned about how her children may perceive the jokes from the live special on May 5. According to an insider, her top priority is supporting her kids who were impacted by the inappropriate content that was shown during the broadcast.

Bündchen has two children with her husband Tom Brady - son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11. She is also a stepmother to Brady's son Jack, 16, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

During the roast, Brady’s marriage to Bündchen and his past relationship with Moynahan were hot topics. Bündchen and Brady ended their 13-year marriage in late 2022, while Brady and Moynahan split in 2006 after dating for two years. After Brady moved on with Bündchen, Moynahan found out she was pregnant with their son, John, also known as Jack.

At the roast, Kevin Hart made a joke about Bündchen giving Brady an "ultimatum" to retire from football. Hart, 44, humorously mentioned that Bündchen told Brady he had to retire or it was over. He then playfully commented on how Brady left the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, "f–king" coach Bill Belichick in the process. Hart added that sometimes you have to make bold moves to maintain your happiness, even if it means "f–king your coach. Gisele also "f–ked" her coach, referring to her previous relationship with a karate instructor.

Bündchen has been in a relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente since last year. They first met while she was still married to Brady. However, she has strongly denied any claims that their romance began before the end of her marriage.

In a statement to The New York Times in March, she said, "That is not true. This is a common situation where women are unfairly blamed when they have the courage to leave a toxic relationship and are accused of being unfaithful. They face judgment from their communities and families. In my case, it has been magnified."

According to a source, the couple, who made their relationship public earlier this year, started dating in the summer of 2023.

Comedian Nikki Glaser mentioned Gisele Bündchen in her routine, joking, “You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back.” Glaser, 39, then made a risqué joke about the challenge of knowing "your ex-wife’s new boyfriend can beat your ass while eating hers."

During a post-roast interview, Glaser mentioned that she and the other comedians agreed to avoid making jokes about Brady's children. She explained to Howard Stern that they collectively decided to keep his kids "off the table" as joke topics, respecting their privacy since they did not choose to be in the spotlight.

According to a source from People, Bündchen was particularly upset by the jokes because she has been deeply committed to aid work in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The region recently faced catastrophic flooding, and Bündchen has been tirelessly dedicated to supporting relief efforts.

The insider said that she was disappointed to hear her life being joked about, especially when she was already concerned about family affected by the devastating floods.

Moynahan also expressed her displeasure with the roast by sharing a pointed quote on Instagram on Monday, May 6. The quote read, "Loyal people take s–t more personal because they never would’ve did that s–t to you."

In her caption on the post, Moynahan wrote, “So true.”

The Roast of Tom Brady is now streaming on Netflix.
