However, since the success of the original 1995 film starring Robin Williams, Jumanji has become a popular blockbuster franchise with two sequels, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level, released in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Featuring Hollywood stars such as Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillian, and Kevin Hart, the franchise has gained significant popularity in the mainstream cinema zeitgeist over the past few years.
The newly released trailer for Jumanji: Wild Adventures, a co-op game set to release on November 3, will excite movie fans as it showcases characters from the latest films jumping, running, and fighting through jungle and snow-covered environments. The game is a departure for the studio, Cradle Games, known for developing the sci-fi action RPG Hellpoint in 2020.
