During an appearance on The View in January, she mentioned that it can be challenging to convince male actors, who are more inclined towards Marvel-style roles, to take on romantic films.

When asked by cohost Sara Haines how these roles could become more appealing to actors, Hudson emphasized the importance of the scriptwriters. She explained that the key to attracting top male talent lies in the quality of the script.

The actress believes that the key is the writing and the investment made in portraying the story and the directors.
