Seven months later, the comedian revealed to Willie Geist that she and Fischer had contemplated the option of surrogacy after experiencing a difficult round of IVF. "Considering how challenging it was, I have made the decision that I am not able to undergo IVF again, therefore, I have concluded that I cannot conceive another child," Schumer explained in August 2020.

"I identify as one of the four women who have experienced this," the mommy blogger conveyed. "I am not divulging this to seek pity or sympathy. I do not wish for others to commiserate with me.
