The arrival of Fortnite OG brings a wave of classic weapons from Chapter 1. Some of these weapons have made appearances in the game over the years, while others have been absent since Chapter 1. This creates a diverse loot pool that sparks nostalgia for some players and brings excitement for others.
What's particularly fascinating is that this season's short duration of one month means that the loot pool will be updated more frequently. Each Thursday, significant changes will be made to reflect different seasons from Chapter 1. Starting with the Chapter 1 Season 5 theme, the island and its loot will transform. Here's what you can anticipate each week as the Fortnite OG weapons evolve. Remember, these listed weapons are just a glimpse of what you can find in the game, as there are even more options available.
Launch-week weapons and loot
During launch week, players can expect a loot pool inspired by Season 5, which includes the following weapons and items:
Heavy Assault Rifle
Pump Shotgun
Hunting Rifle

November 9 update
In the season's second week, the island will shift to resemble Chapter 1 Season 6, which will include new items such as:
Double Barrel Shotgun

Six Shooter
Chiller Trap
Port-a-Fortress
Mounted Turrets
Quadcrashers
November 16 update
During the midpoint of the season, the island will transform to mirror the events of Seasons 7 and 8 from the game's first chapter. This exciting change brings along fresh additions such as:
Flint Knock Pistol
Minigun
Quad Launcher
Stormwing
Pirate Cannon
Poison Dart Trap
Gilder Redeploy
Buried Treasure
November 23 update
The island's final update of the season will also mark the conclusion of the final week. During this time, the island will undergo a transformation to resemble Seasons 9 and X (10) from Chapter 1. This transformation will include the reintroduction of the Storm Flip.
Ballers
Heavy Sniper Rifle
Proximity Grenade Launcher
Air Strikes
Junk Rift
Epic has announced that certain items will remain available throughout the season, a few even through all future updates. However, it hasn't been clarified which items fall into each category, leaving the community to discern this over the next four weeks as they play together.

Editor's P/S
As a long-time fan of Fortnite, I am thrilled about the return of the OG loot pool in Chapter 4 Season 5. The nostalgia factor is off the charts, and I can't wait to get my hands on some of the classic weapons that I haven't used in years. The Heavy Assault Rifle, Pump Shotgun, and Hunting Rifle are some of my personal favorites, and I'm sure they'll be just as fun to use now as they were back in Chapter 1.
I'm also intrigued by the idea of the loot pool being updated more frequently throughout the season. This will keep things fresh and exciting, and it will be interesting to see how the meta evolves as new weapons are added and removed. I'm confident that Epic Games will do a great job of keeping the game balanced, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the coming weeks.
