Former royal aide Samantha Cohen has confirmed that she was interviewed regarding the bullying claims against Meghan Markle. In an interview with The Herald Sun on April 13, Cohen, who is 54 years old, disclosed that she was one of 10 royal staff members who were asked about the allegations against Meghan, who is now 42 years old. Although Cohen did not provide specifics about the interview, she mentioned that Meghan and Prince Harry struggled to retain staff members for a long period of time.
She mentioned to the outlet that she was initially meant to stay for only six months but ended up staying for 18. The reason for this extended stay was the difficulty in finding a replacement for her role. Even when a replacement was found, they also ended up leaving while on tour in Africa with Harry and Meghan.
Cohen had been a part of the royal family's staff for close to 20 years, having served as a member of the late Queen Elizabeth II's staff. During her time there, she fulfilled various roles such as press secretary, assistant, and private secretary to Elizabeth. In 2019, upon the queen's request, Cohen transitioned to join Harry and Meghan's team.
In March 2021, Meghan faced allegations of bullying Palace staff back in 2018 during her time as a working royal alongside Prince Harry. The couple decided to step back from their royal duties in 2020 and now reside in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The outlet said that Harry and Meghan's communications secretary, Jason Knauf, complained to Prince William's private secretary. He claimed that Meghan forced two personal assistants to leave and was also making a third staff member lose confidence. Meghan denied the allegations strongly and criticized the publication.
Meghan and Harry's communications team described the recent negative publicity as a deliberate attempt to harm their reputation. They expressed their disappointment in how the media has portrayed The Duchess of Sussex.
Over a year later, Buckingham Palace revealed that they had completed their investigation into the accusations against Meghan. However, they chose not to disclose the findings to the public.
According to a source, Meghan and Harry were disappointed that the investigation results would not be shared. However, another source mentioned that Meghan felt relieved as she believed her name had been cleared.
The insider shared, "Meghan is a fair boss and never bullied any staff at the Palace. She is pleased that her name has been cleared from the false accusations. Both she and Harry are excited to move forward and focus on their life in Montecito."
