Jordan Rodgers recently went through a scary moment. He shared on his Instagram Story that he had a stressful couple of days after losing his wedding ring at a hotel in South Carolina last weekend.

The former football player recently had a conversation with his wife, JoJo Fletcher. They met on season 12 of The Bachelorette in 2016.

They were talking about losing their wedding bands. He mentioned that just the day before, they were in bed discussing how neither of them had misplaced their rings.

He shared how he takes off his ring when he works out and travels a lot. He couldn't believe that he had not lost it yet. But unfortunately, he eventually did lose it.

Rodgers, knowing exactly where he left the ring, could hear Fletcher, 33, saying, "You didn't lose it, babe," from off camera. But it wasn't until he was at the Atlanta airport that he realized his mistake.

"I had to come home with my tail between my legs and tell JoJo that I lost my wedding ring. I was hoping to get it back but wasn't sure," Rodgers confessed.

Fortunately, a Marriott hotel employee named Caleb in Clemson, South Carolina, found the ring and sent it back to the sports commentator. Rodgers shared a video expressing his relief, mentioning that the ring was returned to him. He praised Caleb in the Marriott at Clemson, highlighting that there are still kind and helpful people in the world.

Rodgers managed to avoid a crisis this time, but he humorously mentioned the possibility of making the same mistake in the future.

In a video, he jokingly said, "First scare. Probably gonna have a few more but we’re back," before playfully telling Fletcher, "We’re married again!"

Rodgers and Fletcher got married in May 2022 after dating for six years. They first got engaged on The Bachelorette in 2016, but have been honest about the challenges they faced in their first year of marriage.

In an interview with We in May 2019, Fletcher shared, "Our first year together was not easy. We had some difficult moments, but those were times of growth. Now, we are in the best place in our relationship. Life keeps getting better and we continue to fall more in love. It may sound cheesy, but it's the truth."

The couple has discussed the possibility of having children in the future.

Rodgers mentioned in an interview with Us in April 2022 that they may not wait too long to start a family, but it may not happen right away.

Fletcher believes that the decision is significant. He anticipates that one day they will simply wake up and feel prepared to take the next step.
