What’s Ron Kamonohashi: Forbidden Deductions about?
This incredible series follows the crime-solving duo of the eccentric private investigator Ron Kamonohashi (a sixth-generation descendant of Sherlock Holmes) and police officer Totomaru Isshiki. Five years ago, Ron Kamonohashi was a standout student at the prestigious Detective Training Academy Blue. However, a moment of temporary insanity resulted in the loss of his detective license and expulsion from the academy.

Ron Kamonohashi had lost his detective status and was unable to pursue his love for solving mysteries, leading him to shut himself away from the world. Studio Diomedea was responsible for animating the first season of the anime, consisting of 13 episodes, with direction by Shota Ibata, renowned for The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent. Wataru Watari was in charge of the series composition, while Yo Tsuji was behind the musical score. The opening theme song, "Ikenai Fool Logic," was performed by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, and the closing theme, "Lip-sync," was performed by hockrockb.
