After wrapping up the chat with Cloud and the gang, it's time for players to exit the shelter. Head over to the Community Noticeboard and pick up the task. Your next mission is to locate the client, Sotetsu, who can be found near the edge of Gongaga Village. Sotetsu is a member of the Coalition. When you speak with him, he will request Yuffie's assistance in improving his skills. Yuffie agrees to help, but only if she receives some materia in return.

There are a total of four planned lessons that Sotetsu must survive, and players have to complete several objectives at all costs.
The first lesson will ask players to do the following:
Help Sotetsu strike the enemy three times.
Pressure an enemy.
Make sure Sotetsu stays safe during battle.
To help Sotetsu attack an enemy three times, players need to make the enemies lose their balance quickly. This will make the enemies unable to fight back and allow Sotetsu to hit them three times. Players can make the enemies vulnerable by studying them and then exploiting their weaknesses.
The second lesson involves players accomplishing the following:
Pressure enemies twice.
Stagger an enemy.
Don't let Sotetsu fall in battle.
Achieving all three objectives is quite simple. If you find it difficult to pressure the enemies, consider using an ice spell on the two Amphidex.
The third lesson may pose a bit of a challenge, so make sure to restore your HP and MP before moving forward. During this lesson, players will need to accomplish the following objectives:
Stagger enemies twice.
Defeat all enemies within the time limit.
Don't let Sotetsu fall in battle.
To defeat enemies quickly, players should use Assess and exploit their weaknesses. The rest of the tasks shouldn't be too problematic either.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Teach Me, Great Warrior Lessons - The fourth and final lesson starts after Yuffie is chased by two Mastodons
In the fourth and last lesson, Yuffie is pursued by two Mastodons. The main goal here is to make sure Sotetsu stays alive during the fight. These Mastodons are vulnerable to fire attacks, so make sure to use that to your advantage. After defeating them, Sotetsu will return to the village, and you should follow him back.
