Celebrities including Raven-Symoné and Jack Harlow have revealed that they require their potential dates to sign nondisclosure agreements. Raven-Symoné, known for her role on The Cosby Show, made headlines when she disclosed that she has had partners sign NDAs in virtually all of her relationships, including her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday.
"It took me some time to comprehend because it felt very impersonal, but for someone in our situation, it's necessary," Symoné explained on the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast. She disclosed that she typically asks for a signature "before intimate moments."
Pearman-Maday ultimately agreed to sign the NDA. "We both felt it detracted from the authenticity of our relationship, but we also recognized the reality of living in Hollywood," Symoné explained, adding, "She knows who she is. So she did it. But she has also shown me who she is beyond those three pages."

Celebs Who Had Their Dates Sign Nondisclosure Agreements: Raven-Symone, Jack Harlow and More
Celebrities such as Raven-Symoné and Jack Harlow have confirmed that they require potential dates to sign nondisclosure agreements. Raven-Symoné, known for her role in That’s So Raven and her early career on The Cosby Show, made headlines in May 2023 when she shared that she has made people sign NDAs in nearly all of her relationships, including her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday, who signed the paperwork just two months into their romance.
"It took me a while to understand it because it feels impersonal, but someone in our position needs to do that,” Symoné explained on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast. Symoné revealed that she typically requested a signature “before things get intimate.”
Ultimately, Pearman-Maday agreed to sign the NDA. “We both felt like it takes away from the authenticity, but we also realize we live in Hollywood,” Symoné said. “She knows who she is. So she did it. But she’s also proven to me beyond the three pages.”

Raven-Symone
Symoné discussed her use of NDAs in a frank interview with Howie Mandel in May 2023. "It took some time to come to terms with it because it feels impersonal, but it's necessary in our position," she explained, adding that she would usually ask partners before things became NSFW.
When she asked her wife to sign the paperwork, the actress admitted that her wife was hesitant at first. However, about two months into their relationship, she eventually agreed. "We both felt that signing the paperwork took away from the authenticity of it all, but we also recognized the reality of living in Hollywood," Symoné explained. She added that her wife knows who she is and ultimately agreed to sign.

Jack Harlow
Having women sign NDAs was such a frequent occurrence for the rapper that he even mentioned it on his track “21C/Delta.”
He raps, "First name, last name, date of birth / make a bad chick sign the paperwork" in the song. Harlow told GQ Hype in 2021 that he would present NDAs to women he hung out with to establish privacy and ensure their time together remained confidential. He explained that he would give them a choice to sign or not, emphasizing that he just wanted to hang out and avoid any public attention.
While most women sign the documents, “some” want to speak to a lawyer first, the “First Class” artist said. “They’re like, ‘Give me a few hours…’.”
