Ocean Caves are like underwater mazes filled with Trash and useful resources. They are different from Mines because there are no enemies or critters, making it a safe place to explore. These caves are made for divers to easily gather common resources without any danger.

Exploring Ocean Caves requires good stamina and top-notch tools to do it right. The caves themselves are not dangerous, but it's important to be prepared.

Even though the treasures inside the caves are endless, there are only a limited number of rooms to explore. So, you'll eventually run out of new areas to discover within the caves.

How to Unlock Ocean Caves

To navigate the Ocean Caves, follow these steps:

Step 1: Explore the Merfolk Kingdom

After unlocking the Merfolk Kingdom region, your first task is to meet with the King and Queen and complete the “Explore the Ocean” quest.

Step 2: Meet Cho Oyu

Next, rendezvous with Cho Oyu to begin the Unwanted Guest Quest.

Step 3: Gain Entry to Ocean Caves

Successfully completing the Unwanted Guest Quest will give you access to the Ocean Caves.

Once you enter the first room, keep going until you unlock the next pathway. In the Caves, you won't be guided through each level like in the Mines. You'll need to figure out where the gate to the next grid is located on your own.

To exit the Ocean Caves, simply interact with the teleportation shrine found in the corner of each room. You also have the option to backtrack to any room you have already cleared, as the gates in the Ocean Caves remain unlocked.

There are four Ocean Caves located in different zones: Se Pulu, Dua Pulu, Empat Pulu, and Lima Pulu. Se Pulu is in the southwestern area of the Ocean, while Dua Pulu is situated to the right of Se Pulu, south of the Ocean. Empat and Lima Pulu are found to the north of these zones.

What to Look for in Ocean Caves

Coral Island provides Ocean Caves as special areas for gathering Trash, Coffer, Kelp, and Fossil Nodes. Inside each cave room, you will find a variety of materials randomly appearing, with Trash being the most common and Kelp being the hardest to find. As you explore deeper into the caves, you will discover different types of Coffers, such as Ornate, Shimmering, Mysterious, Marble, and Pirate. The last two are usually located at depths between 40 and 50 meters.

Removing the Trash in Ocean Caves does not unlock any new features. The resources in these areas are simply for harvesting.
