Exploring the Ensemble of Apple TV+’s ‘The Buccaneers’: Unveiling Kristine Froseth, Christina Hendricks, and Others

Kristine Froseth takes on the role of Nan St. George, a protagonist in the period drama series The Buccaneers on Apple TV+. The show follows the journey of five American girls in their quest for love within the Victorian English dating scene. Premiering on November 8th, this romantic drama is an adaptation of Edith Wharton's unfinished novel from 1938 and was previously brought to life in a 1995 mini-series featuring Carla Gugino.

Apart from navigating the contrasts between American and English culture, as well as the divide between Old Money and New Money, Nan becomes entangled in a romantic entanglement involving nobleman Guy Thwarte (Matthew Broome) and Theo, the Duke of Tintagel (Guy Remmers).

Additionally, the show features Christina Hendricks portraying Nan's mother, Imogen Waterhouse as her sister Jinny, and Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, and Aubri Ibrag as her friends Conchita, Mabel, and Lizzy, respectively.

Kristine Froseth takes on the role of Nan St. George, a period piece heroine, in the latest Apple TV+ series called The Buccaneers. The 28-year-old actress, known for her role in Looking for Alaska, plays one of five American girls searching for romance in Victorian England's dating scene. This romantic drama, based on Edith Wharton's 1938 novel, premiered on Wednesday, November 8. A previous adaptation of the novel was made into a mini-series in 1995 starring Carla Gugino.

Nan not only navigates the contrasting aspects of American and English culture and the distinction between Old Money and New Money, but she also becomes entangled in a love triangle involving nobleman Guy Thwarte (Matthew Broome) and Theo, the Duke of Tintagel (Guy Remmers).

The show features additional cast members including Christina Hendricks as Nan’s mother, Imogen Waterhouse as her sister Jinny, and Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, and Aubri Ibrag as Nan's friends Conchita, Mabel, and Lizzy, respectively.

Kristine Froseth

Prior to assuming the role of the female protagonist in The Buccaneers, Froseth garnered recognition in numerous adolescent television series and films, including Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, The Society, and Looking for Alaska. Additionally, she showcased her talent by portraying a youthful Betty Ford in the 2022 drama series The First Lady and embodying the character of Coby Dellum in an episode of American Horror Stories.

Alisha Boe

Boe catapulted to fame with notable appearances in popular TV shows like Days of Our Lives, CSI: Cyber, and Teen Wolf. However, it was her breakthrough performance as Jessica Davis in Netflix's acclaimed series 13 Reasons Why that truly cemented her status as a rising star. Expanding her repertoire, she later showcased her talent in the Netflix original film Do Revenge, sharing the screen with the talented duo Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke.

Josie Totah

Imogen Waterhouse

Imogen, who is also Suki Waterhouse’s younger sister, has established herself as both a musician and actress. Christina Hendricks
