Super Mario Bros. Wonder may be shorter compared to newer Mario games, but it still offers abundant content for players to delve into. Once the main story is finished, players can enjoy a satisfactory amount of post-game content and have the chance to complete anything they might have missed in their initial playthrough.
Completing everything in Super Mario Bros. Wonder can significantly extend the game's length, making it essential for those wanting to fully experience the post-game delights. Fortunately, there is plenty to discover and do even after foiling Bowser's plans, so players seeking information on what to do next in Mario Wonder are in for a treat.
Explore the Special World
Observant players may have noticed that in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, each world has a hidden entrance to the Special World. Technically, these entrances can be accessed before completing the main story. However, many players tend to overlook them because of their secluded locations. The Special World features courses with a challenging five-star difficulty rating, offering players an exciting post-game challenge to conclude their gameplay experience.
Collect Every Standee
Super Mario Bros. Wonder features a roster of 12 playable characters, each with a collection of 12 Standees available. This means that there are a total of 144 Standees to choose from. Initially, players can acquire random Standees from any Poplin Shop by spending 10 Flower Coins. However, they may quickly realize that they are mainly receiving duplicate Standees. Fortunately, there is a dedicated Standee Shop located in the Special World where players can purchase brand new Standees for 30 Flower Coins.
Get Every Badge
There are a total of 24 badges available in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. To obtain most of these badges, players will have to complete their respective Badge Challenges or purchase them from Poplin Stores. While the majority of these badges can be acquired during a regular playthrough, there are a few that can only be unlocked after completing the main story. These post-game offerings often include some of the most impressive badges in Mario Wonder, making them highly desirable and definitely worth searching for.
Get Every Medal
After completing the game for the first time, players will be rewarded with a unique medal. Super Mario Bros. Wonder features a total of six medals, and players can acquire the remaining five by collecting all Wonder Seeds, Flower Coins, Flagpoles, Standees, and Badges available in the game. Assuming players have achieved these objectives, they will be well on their way towards unlocking all the badges. However, there remains one final post-game challenge that they must overcome before attaining this goal.
Complete the Final-Final Test
Once all courses in Super Mario Bros. Wonder have green check marks, players will gain access to a super secret course in the Special World known as The Final-Final Test: Badge Marathon. This course specifically evaluates the player's proficiency with various badges found throughout the game. By completing this challenge, players will unlock the final badge, marking the ultimate achievement after conquering Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Although it's possible that future updates may introduce additional post-game content, as of now, this constitutes the entirety of available activities.
