Director Matthew Vaughn already has plans for the film Argylle to be part of a larger Kingsman spy universe along with a third franchise. Despite the release date of Argylle being months away and limited information available about Kingsman: The Blue Blood, Vaughn recently revealed in an interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he intends to expand the spy universe even further.
The director teases further expansions to the Argylle franchise, along with some exciting crossovers down the line. Check out Vaughn's full comment below:
We have a book coming out called Argylle, with plans for a sequel, Argylle 2. In this universe, our goal is to create a spy franchise similar to Marvel's superheroes. On one side, we have Kingsman, and on the other, Argylle. Additionally, we have an exciting idea for something in between. These franchises exist in a galaxy where they may eventually cross paths.
