On Friday, October 20, 2023, Shueisha and other well-known Japanese companies came together to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime. As part of these festivities, five commercials were released, with each showcasing a prominent Japanese actor or voice actor.
These five commercials were combined to create a compilation video, which was subsequently shared on the official YouTube channel of the One Piece franchise. In these commercials, the actors and voice actors passionately expressed their love for Eiichiro Oda's immensely popular manga series.

The five commercials were released alongside the re-release of One Piece Film: Red in Japanese theaters, which began this past Friday. In one of the commercials, voice actresses Kaori Nazuka and Yuno Nakao join Uta in singing at a film screening.In celebration of the upcoming 25th anniversary of the One Piece anime series, a collaborative effort was made by five companies. These companies, namely Shueisha, Bandai/Bandai Spirits, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Toei, and Toei Animation, all have ties to the franchise. Notably, Shueisha is responsible for publishing the manga, while Toei Animation oversees the production of the television anime adaptation.
One or more well-known voice actors or actors are featured in each commercial, with two of them being directly associated with the franchise. Actor Mackenyu portrays Roronoa Zoro in Netflix's live-action adaptation of the original manga series, while voice actor Akio Ohtsuka voices Marshall D. Teach, or Blackbeard, in the television anime series.
Additionally, Wataru Ichinose, Subaru Kimura, Shirabe Kawaguchi, Kaori Nazuka, and Sota Fukushi also make appearances in the commercial in various ways. Some of them are given more prominence, emphasizing their deep love for the series. On the other hand, others are shown silently engaging with one of the franchise's numerous video games or enjoying an anime episode at home.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the official YouTube channel for the franchise will launch a new linear stream of the anime. Titled "ANYTIME ONEPIECE," this stream will be exclusively available in Japan and will continue throughout the year 2024. As new episodes air on television, they will be added to the stream. With the current number of episodes released and their average duration, each complete cycle of the anime's broadcast is estimated to span approximately 18 days.
Bandai Namco Entertainment, Shueisha, and Toei Animation have previously partnered for the One Piece Day event, a celebration of the manga's anniversary. They hosted the event once again this year, with a main focus on the Egghead Island arc in the manga and the introduction of Gear 5 in the anime.
