Game studio Build A Rocket Boy, led by ex-GTA and Rockstar executive Leslie Benzies, just unveiled a fresh trailer for their debut title, Everywhere. Additionally, the studio revealed details on how fans can gain early access to the game.
Everywhere is defined as a "community-focused gaming experience, empowering players to express their creativity, engage in gameplay, and connect with others." It presents itself not as just a singular game, but as a platform where users have the freedom to design whatever they desire, akin to popular titles like Roblox and Fortnite. The latest trailer showcases a diverse array of experiences that await players within Everywhere.
The latest trailer for Everywhere depicts a significant departure from the initial one released in August 2022. This is to be expected, considering that Everywhere is not confined to a specific genre or art style.
Furthermore, individuals now have the opportunity to create an account on the Everywhere game website in order to reserve a username and express their interest in participating in the closed alpha. According to the developer, the alpha test will commence "soon." It will be exclusively available for PC users and serve as a "limited technical test" to evaluate the game's systems and gather player feedback. Subsequent testing phases will be conducted, ensuring that those who were not included in the initial round have the opportunity to participate in future iterations.

"We envision a future where players have the ability to create their own games. Everywhere is our way of empowering individuals to be innovative, take risks, and construct worlds solely through their own imagination," stated Benzies. "We are supplying the necessary tools, inspiration, and infrastructure, and we are eagerly anticipating how our community will nurture the next wave of developers to contribute to the growth of the Everywhere narrative."
After a 17-month sabbatical, Benzies departed from Rockstar North in 2016. In April 2016, he filed a $150 million lawsuit against Rockstar Games, alleging that he was coerced into leaving.
As for the GTA series, Rockstar is now developing Grand Theft Auto 6. GTA V, one of the best-selling games in history, just celebrated its 10th anniversary on September 17.
