Winnie becomes a hero after unmasking and killing "The Angel," the knife-wielding maniac who is discovered to be the town's own Mayor, Henry Waters, portrayed by Justin Long. However, one year later, Winnie finds herself in a completely different situation. She wishes she had never been born and suddenly finds herself trapped in a parallel universe where The Angel is still on the loose. No one, not even her own family, remembers her existence. Now, Winnie must take matters into her own hands. Her mission is not only to expose Mayor Waters as the killer but also to find a way to return to her own universe.
