Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Minecraft mob vote and expressing their opinions on the armadillo, crab, and penguin options.

A Minecraft player has crafted an image displaying a collection of mobs that did not succeed in past mob votes, emphasizing the range of unique creatures that were not chosen. Despite these unsuccessful candidates not being currently in the game, there remains a potential chance for their inclusion in the future, as the current mob vote does not exhibit a definitive frontrunner.

A Minecraft enthusiast has created an image featuring all the mobs that have lost in previous mob votes. In Minecraft Live 2023, players will participate in a mob vote to choose between the armadillo, crab, and penguin, and the losing creatures are likely to disappear for the foreseeable future.

As the upcoming Minecraft mob vote is scheduled to begin on October 13, players are expressing their excitement for the options. While many players are discussing the pros and cons of each option to determine which one deserves their vote the most, some fans have gone above and beyond. One player has constructed a massive Minecraft Survival mode base dedicated to the crab mob in the vote. Despite the anticipation of what is to come from so many Minecraft players, one fan has taken the opportunity to remind the community about the mobs that have lost in the past.

Reddit user Oceans24mission recently shared three Minecraft images showcasing mobs that failed to receive enough votes for inclusion in the game. One image features various lost Minecraft mobs such as the Copper Golem, Glare, Iceloger, Moobloom, Meerkat, Ostrich, Rascal, Tuff Golem, and Vulture. Another image highlights mobs that didn't win the biome-specific vote, while the third image brings these two groups together. The unnamed mobs that lost the biome vote were the deep ocean monster, Great Hunger, and Hovering Inferno, losing out to the Phantom. In total, Oceans24mission's image includes 12 lost mobs, with one notable exception.

Termites, despite being unlisted, could have been added to the Minecraft Savanna. Their role would be to consume wood and drop sawdust. Even though the community voted against their inclusion, each termite would have served a unique purpose. The Iceloger would have summoned ice clouds to slow players down, whereas the Rascal would engage in a hide-and-seek game, rewarding players upon being found three times. Ultimately, the Iceloger lost to the Minecraft Glow Squid in 2020, and the Rascal received fewer votes than the Sniffer in 2022. Among the mobs that successfully entered the game following community votes are the Allay, Phantom, Llama, Polar Bear, and Magma Cube.

Although the Minecraft mobs featured in Oceans24mission's images didn't make it into the game, there is a possibility that they might be added in the future. The armadillo, crab, and penguin have garnered praise from potential voters leading up to Minecraft Live, but it remains uncertain if any of them will emerge as a clear favorite.

Minecraft is currently accessible on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
