Hugh Jackman celebrated his 55th birthday with some surprising company — his estranged wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
Jackman expressed his gratitude for the birthday love he received, stating that he is currently reading the messages, watching special videos, and feeling the emotions associated with them. He shared this update alongside an Instagram photo taken during a dinner at The Polo Bar in New York City on October 12th, with his wife Furness among the guests. Many of Jackman's famous friends also sent him birthday wishes in the comments section of the post. Michael B. Jordan wished him a happy birthday and expressed his hope for continued blessings from the universe, while Dexter Fletcher described Jackman as a wonderful man and wished him a beautiful day.
Following the announcement of their separation after 27 years of marriage, Jackman and Furness celebrated Jackman's birthday, which occurred about a month later. In a joint statement released on September 15, the couple expressed gratitude for the almost three decades they spent together as a married couple, describing their marriage as wonderful and loving. They acknowledged that their journey is now taking a different path as they pursue individual growth, and emphasized that their family remains their top priority. In 1995, the duo first crossed paths on the set of the Australian TV series Correlli and soon started a romantic relationship. After a brief separation, Jackman and Furness exchanged vows in 1996 and went on to welcome their adopted children in 2000 and 2005.
