Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis has recently taken a trip down memory lane filled with enchanting nostalgia. Lewis, known for his portrayal of Neville Longbottom in the Potter film series, which commenced with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001 and concluded with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 in 2011. Neville, initially introduced as a nerdy and forgetful supporting character, evolves into a significant figure in the battle against the menacing dark lord Voldemort.

Lewis has shared his journey back to the beloved Harry Potter sets on Instagram.

The promotional video for the new Warner Bros tour in Tokyo showcases the recreation of some of the most memorable setpieces from the movies. Apart from other sets included in the tour, Lewis' teaser video takes us on a visit to the Gryffindor common room, the Hogwarts stairwell, and the school's library.

After dedicating a full decade to the Harry Potter franchise, Lewis has successfully transitioned into other notable roles. While he now divides his time between the big screen and television, one of his standout performances was in the widely acclaimed 2016 romance film, Me Before You. In this movie, Lewis portrayed Patrick, the envious boyfriend of Lou, played by Emilia Clarke, who disrupts her blossoming relationship with Will, portrayed by Sam Claflin.

Since his debut in 2016, Lewis also garnered attention for his role as Sgt. "Drum" Drummond in the detective drama Ripper Street. He not only portrayed the character in season 4 but also reprised the role in the subsequent season. In 2020, he further showcased his versatility by appearing in seven episodes of the James Herriot adaptation All Creatures Great and Small, which premiered on Channel 5.

While Lewis is widely recognized for his portrayal in the Harry Potter franchise, he continues to explore diverse characters, opening doors to new and popular roles.
