I envision a captivating horror noir narrative that follows this unseen creature as it struggles to piece together fragmented memories in its quest to uncover the truth behind its transformation and identify the perpetrator.
Although Swamp Thing has a dedicated fan base, it is important to note that the supernatural creature is not considered one of DC's top-tier characters and remains relatively unknown to the general public. Despite a few previous live-action projects, such as the cancelled Swamp Thing TV show, Swamp Thing has yet to achieve widespread recognition in the world of comic book media. Making significant changes to well-known figures like Superman and Batman would undoubtedly have a larger impact due to their immense global popularity.
Mangold's alterations in the DC Studios movie of Swamp Thing are unlikely to generate a significant reaction beyond the hardcore fanbase.
