Exciting Opportunity: Enter the Marketing Week Awards 2024

Don't miss out on the chance to showcase your effectiveness, creativity, and innovation at Marketing Week's prestigious event. Join a panel of esteemed senior marketers as they select the standout winners of this annual celebration.

The Our Website Awards is back and open for entries, ready to celebrate the most effective, creative and innovative work and people in the industry.

Brands and agencies in the marketing services industry are encouraged to submit their work for consideration. The awards encompass all facets of marketing, spanning from strategic planning to implementation, and cater to both B2B and B2C sectors.

The awards for this year consist of over 30 categories in total, organized into three main sections – sector, channel, and special categories – aimed at recognizing both individual and team achievements.

Entrants can expect to be scrutinised by more than 50 CMOs and executives from innovative marketing organisations in a range of sectors.

Confirmed names to date include:

Adam Zavalis, vice-president of marketing, Asda

Charlotte Lock, partner and customer director, John Lewis

Chris Carter, strategic transformation director, Specsavers

Pete Markey, CMO, Boots

Sonia Sudhakar, CMO, Royal Mail Group

Rebecca Dibb-Simkin, chief product and marketing officer, Octopus Energy

Anouschka Elliot, managing director, global head of marketing, Goldman Sachs Asset Management

Tamara Strauss, global customer director, Premier Inn

All entrants, whether shortlisted or victorious, undergo a rigorous entry process and are evaluated by a forensic jury. Entrants for each category are required to demonstrate their achievements in relation to business objectives and how their actions align with the overall strategy.

Winners will receive widespread recognition, with their profiles showcased on a dedicated page and their success stories shared with Our Website's international audience of senior marketers as exemplary case studies. Additionally, select winners will have the opportunity to be highlighted at the Festival of Marketing, the UK's largest marketing event.

Big winners in 2023 were Cadbury, which received the Grand Prix award for its innovation, strength of purpose, and commitment to long-term brand building. Guinness was honored as the Brand of the Year, enjoying its best year according to parent company Diageo. Additionally, Boots CMO Pete Markey was named Marketer of the Year.

Our Website editor-in-chief Russell Parsons expresses, "The Our Website Awards serve as a tribute to the realm of possibilities, showcasing the accomplishments that marketers are capable of achieving." He acknowledges the past year's challenges but commends marketers for their resilience and dedication in serving their companies and customers. Parsons eagerly anticipates sharing their success stories and recognizing their achievements when the shortlist and winners are revealed.

The deadline for submissions is May 1st. The shortlist of nominees will be revealed on July 19th, with the winners being announced at a prestigious ceremony in London in November.
