Get ready to conquer Invincible Season 2 on Prime Video. We have the complete release schedule, including dates for each episode in the series.
Invincible revolves around Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), a high-school student who is also the son of Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), the most powerful superhero in the world. However, things take a dark turn when Mark discovers his own abilities and becomes Invincible. Mysterious and brutal events unfold, such as the shocking mass murder of the Guardians of the Globe.
After the conclusion of the initial season, it became clear that Omni-Man's true purpose was not to save Earth, but rather to conquer it on behalf of his notorious distant barbarian race, known for their plundering, killing, and ruthless aggression throughout the cosmos. Mark, however, strongly opposed this plan.
The anticipation for Season 2 has felt like an eternity, spanning a precisely calculated 918 days... not that anyone's been counting, of course. But finally, we are now just a mere week away from its debut. Here's a detailed breakdown of its release schedule.
How many episodes are there in Invincible Season 2?
Invincible Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, however, there is unfortunate news. This year, only the initial four episodes will be released, while the latter half of Season 2 will not be available until early 2024.
Also, the show is being broadcasted on a weekly basis, so do not anticipate binge-watching the entire series. The initial season released its initial three episodes simultaneously, likely in an effort to generate interest in the show. However, there is extensive anticipation for the upcoming season, therefore we will need to exercise patience this time.

Fans are bound to be frustrated by the prospect of having to wait until next year for the remaining episodes. In a previous interview with Collider, show creator Robert Kirkman detailed the various factors that influenced the decision to divide the season.
“It's taken longer than expected to ramp up the production process," he explained. "However, this pause is a routine part of every season of The Walking Dead. From a narrative perspective, it's quite intriguing to take a moment to reflect on what you've just encountered. Episode 4 of Season 2 is particularly significant; it's a game-changing episode that may require a breather. It's certainly on par with a mid-season finale."
"With so much happening during that time of year, with holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, and the abundance of family time, many shows tend to be overlooked. Therefore, taking a break is beneficial, as it allows the narrative to have a greater impact. Once the season launches, viewers will understand what I mean."

Editor's P/S
Invincible Season 2 is finally here, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the new episodes. The first four episodes of the season will be released on Prime Video on November 3, with the remaining four episodes being released in early 2024. This split-season release schedule is a bit of a bummer, but it's understandable given the show's complex production process.
I'm really excited to see where the story goes in Season 2. The first season ended with a major cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see how Mark and the other characters deal with the fallout. I'm also curious to learn more about the new villains that will be introduced this season. Overall, I'm very optimistic about Invincible Season 2 and I can't wait to see what it has in store for us.
