Harry Kane, the captain of England, has seamlessly adapted to the Bundesliga and showcased his skills on Saturday. During Bayern Munich's dominant victory over Darmstadt 98, Kane scored an extraordinary goal from his own half, reminiscing the remarkable feat achieved by former England captain David Beckham almost three decades ago. In the 68th minute, as Bayern launched a counterattack, Kane controlled the ball inside his own half beyond the halfway line, glanced ahead, and powered it into the net. The ball's impressive arc landed perfectly out of reach for goalkeeper Marcel Schuhens.
"I caught a glimpse of the goalkeeper in an unusual stance," he informed We later. "At that point, we were leading by four or five goals, so I figured, why not take a shot? As the ball soared through the air, I fervently hoped it would dip beneath the crossbar, and fortunately, it did."
Kane's remarkable goal will join the prestigious collection of legendary goals that span over half the length of the pitch - a compilation that features Beckham's memorable strike from the halfway line for Manchester United against Wimbledon in 1996.

The goal also added to Kane's hat trick on Saturday, as Bayern Munich secured an astonishing 8-0 victory over Darmstadt 98 in a game filled with three red cards in the first half (one for Bayern and two for Darmstadt) and eight goals in the second half.
Kane has been in formidable form since joining the German club following a successful 19-year period at Tottenham Hotspur. In just 13 games, he has managed to find the back of the net 14 times, making him the second-highest scorer in the Bundesliga, only behind Serhou Guirassy.
