Call of Duty Mobile's Season 1: Soldier's Tale, set to launch on January 10 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET, will introduce a fairytale theme to the game. The latest blog post from Call of Duty outlines what players can look forward to in Season 1, such as folklore-inspired operator skins and weapon blueprints, a fresh battle pass with 50 tiers of free and premium items.
The free battle pass tiers offer exciting rewards such as a new tactical item and sniper rifle. At Tier 14, players can unlock the Trip Sensor Tactical item, perfect for setting traps against enemies. Additionally, at Tier 21, the new LW3-Tundra sniper rifle becomes available, a powerful bolt-action weapon capable of one-shot eliminations.
In the premium pass for Soldier's Tale, players can expect themed operator skins featuring characters like Alice, Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. Weapon blueprints also follow a fairytale theme, with options like the Caterpillar's Poetry blueprint for the Striker submachine gun, the Dragon's Roar for the ICR assault rifle, and the Red Queen's Rebuke blueprint for the new LW3-Tundra sniper, offering a truly whimsical experience.
Season 1 will introduce the Atrium map, a small map from Modern Warfare 2019. Additionally, a new seasonal event called 1001 Blades will be available, allowing players to complete missions in order to earn Steel and Bronze Dagger items and progress along a reward track. Free items include the Mad Hatter's Revenge weapon blueprint for the FFAR 1 assault rifle and the Soldier Royal operator skin for Zero. Season 1 will also bring additional content and quality-of-life improvements, such as new seasonal challenges, store bundles, and more.
Season 1 brings a variety of store bundles, such as the Templar Wolfen Raider bundle featuring a wolf-themed operator skin, and the Fiona St. George: Shattered Glass bundle which includes an armored Cinderella operator skin. Additionally, the midseason update for MW3 and Warzone is also set to arrive this month, introducing more weapons, a new MP map, Ranked Play, and new game modes.
