Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian go way back.

Before starring alongside each other on American Horror Story: Delicate, Roberts, 33, revealed she used to shop at Kardashian’s Dash boutique

Growing up in Calabasas, California, both Kim and I have a shared history. As a teenager, I used to frequent their store, Dash, where Kim and her sisters worked before they became famous. It was a place where I would shop and have casual conversations with them.

The Kardashian sisters, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé, opened their first brick and mortar store in 2006. Following the success of their reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, they expanded their shop to Miami, New York City, and the Hamptons. The journey from a small store in Calabasas to multiple locations across the country was documented in various spinoff series of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kim announced in April 2018 that Dash was closing for good after 12 years.

They have been busy managing their own brands, being mothers, and juggling work with their families. They feel in their hearts that it is time to move on. They expressed their love for the DASH Dolls and gratitude for the wonderful memories. A special thanks was given to the DASH employees, amazing fans, and loyal customers who have supported them throughout the years. Kim also mentioned that they couldn't have done it without everyone's support and thanked them all.

Since Dash shut its doors, Kim has been busy with Skims, SKKN by Kim, her private equity firm SKKY Partners, and of course, acting

In the series Delicate, Kim portrays the character Siobhan Corbyn, the enigmatic and determined publicist of Anna Victoria, played by Roberts. The show is adapted from Danielle Valentine's novel Delicate Condition, focusing on Anna's belief that someone is trying to prevent her from achieving her goal of becoming pregnant. Despite eventually becoming pregnant, Anna experiences a miscarriage, but she remains convinced that she did not actually lose the baby.

The first part of the series premiered in September 2023, with the second part starting on Wednesday, April 3. Viewers can catch new episodes weekly on FX.

Earlier this year, Roberts expressed his admiration for working with Kim in an interview with Extra. He described her as amazing, professional, incredibly prepared, and easy-going. He also mentioned how much he loves working with her.
