Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rapid and captivating love story has made a massive impact globally, particularly within the NFL. However, Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, remains unfazed. When asked about it at the Time 100 Next Honors gala on Tuesday, October 24, the 25-year-old athlete responded with a witty remark, stating, "It's not really my thing. I'm more concentrated on achieving victory in football matches."

Swift, 33, and Kelce, 34, have had a strong relationship since she went to the Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Chicago Bears last month. The Grammy winner has become a regular at Kelce's football games, often sitting in the stands with his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, or Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes.

Swift, who was seen holding hands with Travis on consecutive date nights in New York City earlier this month, has been attracting attention during NFL broadcasts.

"I find it enjoyable when they reveal the presence of all the individuals attending the game. It adds a little more excitement to the atmosphere and enhances the viewing experience," Travis expressed during the October 4 episode of his "New Heights" podcast, while discussing the NFL's focus on his relationship. "However, I do believe they are going a bit overboard, particularly in my case."

Taking a contrasting viewpoint, Travis' older brother Jason Kelce offered a different perspective. "I believe the NFL is not accustomed to celebrities attending their games," the 35-year-old, who is also a teammate of Hurts on the Eagles, remarked. "Basketball has managed to handle it. They have courtside seats where they are visible briefly, and then the attention shifts back to the game."

Travis joked about the graphic shown by CBS during his game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The graphic compared his performance on the field when Swift was present versus when she was not. According to CBS, Travis gained an average of 99 yards per game when Swift was in the stands, compared to 46.5 yards without her. Travis found the pun in the graphic amusing and commented on it during their "New Heights" podcast episode on October 25th.

The overwhelming media coverage even reached the Saturday Night Live studio, where the cast parodied the NFL's focus on Taylor Swift during the season 49 premiere. Travis appeared in a short appearance at the end of the skit.

"It was humorous. I had no idea what was going to happen, but I decided to join SNL last minute and they asked me if I wanted to wrap up the skit about me and Taylor's involvement in the NFL games," he remembered at a press conference on Friday, October 20. "It was absolutely hilarious. I enjoyed it immensely and couldn't stop laughing during the skit."

Swift will continue to support Travis by attending more of his games, but an exclusive source informed us earlier this month that she prefers not to be a distraction. According to the insider, she understands that her presence at his games can be overwhelming and wants to strike a balance between supporting him and not affecting the team negatively.
