Tyler Posey's wedding to singer Phem was an unofficial Teen Wolf reunion, although not all of his former costars were present. Posey expressed his excitement to share the special occasion with the Teen Wolf cast, whom he loves and will always cherish. They spent the entire night hanging out, partying, and dancing, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience. Posey was grateful for the presence of those who did attend, as it meant a great deal to him.
The actor tied the knot at a spiritual meditation center in Malibu earlier this month, with notable attendees like Avril Lavigne and Bella Thorne. Also present were Posey's former costars Colton Haynes, Tyler Hoechlin, JR Bourne, and Khylin Rhambo.
However, Dylan O'Brien, a former cast member of Teen Wolf, was notably absent. Posey revealed that both O'Brien and Dylan Sprayberry were invited but were unable to attend due to other commitments.
Posey explained that he had to carefully choose which friends to invite to the ceremony, as he and his wife preferred to keep it relatively intimate. He admitted that he had to make tough decisions and accept the fact that he couldn't invite everyone. However, the presence of those who were able to attend meant a lot to him, as each of them held significant importance in his life. Their presence truly touched him and he felt incredibly grateful for their attendance.

From 2011 to 2017, Teen Wolf, an unforgettable show on MTV, captivated audiences. This supernatural series followed the journey of a high school student who transformed into a werewolf after being bitten by an alpha. Balancing personal challenges with the responsibility of safeguarding Beacon Hills, his hometown, against numerous perils became his ultimate mission.
In a recent reunion, several cast members gathered for Teen Wolf: The Movie on Paramount+. Regrettably, O'Brien, Arden Cho, and Cody Christian did not return to portray their original characters.
"It was a difficult decision, one that I pondered over extensively," O'Brien shared with Variety in March 2022. "The show holds a special place in my heart as it was my first foray into the industry, and many of the people involved are incredibly dear to me. Although I made genuine efforts to make it work, the circumstances unfolded rapidly, catching us off guard. However, our love for the show propelled us to navigate this unexpected turn of events."
He further explained, "In the end, I concluded that the show had reached a satisfying conclusion for me, and I choose to honor that. I genuinely wish them the best, eagerly anticipating its premiere. I hope it excels in every aspect, but I will not be a part of it."
Posey disclosed on Friday that, despite not all cast members reuniting on screen, they do stay connected. "We have a text chain. With everyone being so busy, it's a challenge to keep it active every day," he commented. "But what I love the most is how we have grown up together and become even closer over time. It reinforces the depth of our friendship and the genuine connection we share as we age. We become more grounded in our individual identities and have the privilege of sharing that journey with one another."
Posey expressed his admiration for the enduring connection he cultivated with his fellow cast members, stating, "The true friendship we developed wasn't something we were obligated to, but something we fully embraced. It holds immense significance to me, and I am genuinely thrilled to have it."
