Dylan Dreyer, the latest cohost of Today, was not present on the NBC morning show on Thursday, March 21. The reason for her absence was not given. Instead, Laura Jarrett, the coanchor of Saturday Today, stepped in to fill her spot alongside Craig Melvin and Al Roker. Laura had also substituted for Jenna Bush Hager on Today With Hoda and Jenna the day before.

Jarrett has filled in for Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb this week while they are on spring break with their families. Kotb, 59, shared a photo of her vacation on Instagram, posting a sunset beach picture on Monday, March 18, with a single red heart emoji.

Dreyer’s cohost Sheinelle Jones has also been missing from the show this week.

Dreyer shared a glimpse into her life raising her three sons, Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty, with her husband, Brian Fichera.

In the photos, Fichera and their boys can be seen enjoying the show with light-up swords and sticks. She expressed how amazing the day was at @ringling circus and how magical it was to see it through their eyes.

Recently, Dreyer made headlines for mentioning that she showers with her three sons to streamline their bedtime routine. She explained to the Daily Mail on Monday, "When I shower at night, if I can get all three in the shower with me so I can get everybody bathed at once, we're good to go!"

"It's starting to feel a bit strange now that my oldest is seven. He doesn't take showers anymore, he just bathes while I shower. I make sure to dry off quickly, I don't stay in there too long."
