Dune: Part 2 Introduces Exclusive Paul Atreides and Feyd-Rautha Operator Bundles to MW3 and Warzone

The protagonist of Dune: Part Two, Paul Atreides, is now a playable character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone. His arch-enemy, the cunning Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, will be available on December 16.

Paul and Feyd-Rautha will be in separate operator bundles, with their in-game characters modeled after the actors Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler who play them in the upcoming sci-fi epic. The Paul Atreides bundle includes a special finishing move, a crysknife melee weapon, two gun skins, a weapon charm, an emblem, and a playercard. There will also be a limited-time event called Dune: Trial of Power, where players can claim additional rewards like the Sand & Spice weapon camo, a sandworm weapon charm, various emblems, weapon stickers, and playercards.

Call of Duty now features the epic battle for Dune. Although Butler's connection to gaming remains a mystery, a Vice investigation in 2021 revealed that Chalamet once operated a YouTube channel called ModdedController360. On this channel, he showcased his custom-painted Xbox 360 controllers. Chalamet has acknowledged his previous YouTube endeavors and has recently embraced them. At The Game Awards 2023, he was introduced by host Geoff Keighley as ModdedController360. It was there that he revealed Baldur's Gate 3 as the Game of the Year.

Dune: Part Two was initially set for release in October 2022 but was later postponed to March 2023 due to the now-resolved SAG-AFTRA strike. The film is now scheduled to be released on March 1.

A recent trailer for Dune: Part Two has offered fans an exciting glimpse of the epic battle for Arrakis, marking the thrilling conclusion to director Denis Villeneuve's two-part film. In this trailer, the native Fremen, led by Paul, are seen engaging the Emperor's Sarduakar soldiers from atop massive sandworms.
