Donna Kelce reveals the secret lucky charm she dons for her sons Travis and Jason's NFL games, ensuring their success on the field

Donna Kelce, 71, recently shared the significance of the jewelry she wears during her sons Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s football games. According to Donna, she possesses two bracelets that belonged to her stepmother. These bracelets have sentimental value as her stepmother used to receive charms as Christmas and birthday gifts, including ones representing Travis and Jason's football teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Donna spoke exclusively to us about this while promoting her partnership with Ancestry®.

Donna expressed her affection for those bracelets that she now wears. Specifically, she mentioned her intention to wear the KC bracelet during Travis' games and the Philly bracelet during Jason's games. Donna added that she will have the opportunity to wear both bracelets when the Chiefs and the Eagles compete on Monday, November 20.

Besides the unique accessories, Donna disclosed that she does not have any particular rituals for good luck when her sons play. Nevertheless, she does send text messages to Travis, aged 34, and Jason, aged 36, before their respective games.

"I will either search for a humorous photo from their past or recollect a comment they made in the past, and simply wish them luck," she expressed. "That's essentially my approach."

Travis and Jason achieved a historic milestone in February by becoming the first set of brothers to compete against each other in a Super Bowl match. While the Chiefs emerged as the winners, Jason will have an opportunity for redemption in Monday's game, as it serves as a rematch of the Super Bowl.

Travis and Jason have a strong bond despite their friendly sibling rivalry. They cohost a popular podcast called "New Heights" and their mother, Donna, believes that they have remained down-to-earth because of the positive influences they had while growing up. Donna attributes this to their amazing coaches, exceptional teachers, and supportive families who were there for them throughout their baseball and football journeys. These individuals, who are still close friends with Donna, had great qualities that influenced Travis and Jason over the years. Donna is extremely grateful that her sons had these opportunities and are now the incredible men they have become.

Donna, apart from being a proud mother, also fulfills the role of a grandmother to Jason's three daughters, Wyatt (4 years old), Elliotte (2 years old), and Bennett (8 months old), who he shares with his wife Kylie Kelce. During an interview with Us, Donna expressed how much Jason enjoys being a father to girls. She mentioned his fondness for cuddling them, enjoying their sweetness, and cherishing their adorable comments. Furthermore, Donna acknowledged his appreciation for the girls' love towards their pets and dolls.

Donna's excitement in collaborating with Ancestry® stems from her deep love for her family. The partnership with Ancestry® has been highly satisfying for her, particularly due to the intriguing new tools they offer. She expresses her fascination with their feature that allows users to upload photos, recipes, and various other items.

Apart from unraveling details about her ancestors, Donna also discovered something intriguing about her own self during her interaction with the service.

"I possess the trait of being a sprinter, and it is quite logical as I used to engage in sprinting during my high school days, demonstrating remarkable speed. To my surprise, I could even outpace boys during my time in middle school," she revealed. "It follows a logical pattern that my sons would display swift movements on the field as well."
