Doctor Who's stellar ensemble keeps expanding as another Shadow & Bone actor joins the lineup.

A Shadow & Bone star, Ncuti Gatwa, has been announced as the new lead for Doctor Who season 14. He will take on the role of the Fifteenth Doctor after appearing in the show's 60th anniversary celebrations and 2023 seasonal special. Gatwa will be accompanied by Millie Gibson's character, Ruby Sunday, as his new companion in an upcoming eight-episode season airing in the spring.

The show's showrunner, Russell T Davies, recently revealed new casting additions for the upcoming season in Doctor Who Magazine (via RadioTimes). Genesis Lynea from Shadow & Bone and Gwïon Morris Jones from The Winter King have been cast in undisclosed roles. Davies praised Lynea's previous work and hinted that her character in Doctor Who will be a departure from her past roles.
